Marint Kunskapscenter i Malmö
This is a rather small facility, so small that I'm not even sure it really counts as a collection. But they do keep a few animals, so I suppose it qualifies. It's the Marine Education Center in Malmö, located right on the beach. The main focus here is education, especially about local marine life.

They have a handful of aquariums. Some house more permanent residents, while one is a special "daily catch" tank that displays whatever has recently been collected from the nearby shore. The daily catch usually consists of crabs, shrimp, and other local marine life, but there's always the possibility of finding something a bit more unusual.

My trip to Sweden wasn't only about photography and adding new species to my lists. It was also about documenting smaller collections that have little to no information available online, even when they don't offer any real "lifers". This place fits exactly into that category.

There's nothing particularly extraordinary in the permanent collection, but the daily catch means every visit can be a little different. If you're lucky, you might come across something you weren't expecting.

Overall, this is not a destination aquarium. It's a small educational stop focused on local marine life, best visited if you're already in the area. For me, it was mainly about having seen it and documenting what they have.
